Artist Terms & Conditions

1. About Celtic Casting Ltd

1.1 Celtic Casting Ltd (“Celtic Casting”, “CC”, “we”, “us”) is a licensed Employment Agency operating in Ireland. We provide casting, booking, and payroll services for supporting artists, stand-ins, and related roles within the film, television, advertising, and media industries.

1.2 Celtic Casting acts as an intermediary between artists (“you”, “the Artist”) and third-party production companies, broadcasters, advertisers, and other hirers (“Hirers”).

1.3 Registration with Celtic Casting does not guarantee work. Engagements depend on production requirements, suitability, availability, and Hirer selection.

2. Agreement & Authority

2.1 These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Celtic Casting Ltd.

2.2 By registering with Celtic Casting, you:

• Confirm that all information provided is accurate and kept up to date
• Authorise Celtic Casting to put you forward for work opportunities
• Authorise Celtic Casting to facilitate booking and engagement arrangements with Hirers on your behalf, where required

2.3 Celtic Casting does not guarantee the frequency, duration, or continuity of work.

3. Right to Work & Eligibility

3.1 You must have a legal right to work in Ireland at all times.

3.2 You are responsible for providing valid documentation confirming your right to work and must notify Celtic Casting immediately of any change to your status.

3.3 Failure to maintain a valid right to work may result in suspension or removal from the database.

4. Profiles, Photographs & Media

4.1 You may upload photographs and personal details to your profile. By doing so, you grant Celtic Casting a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use this content for casting, booking, and related promotional purposes.

4.2 You confirm that you own or have permission to use all uploaded content.

4.3 Your profile must accurately reflect your current appearance. Celtic Casting reserves the right to request updates or remove unsuitable or misleading content.

4.4 For artists under 12, profile images must be updated at least every six months.

4.5 Where Celtic Casting commissions professional photographs:

• The images remain the property of Celtic Casting
• They may be used for casting and promotional purposes
• Artists may not use these images independently without written permission

5. Professional Standards & Conduct

5.1 Artists are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times, including:

• Responding promptly to availability requests
• Attending bookings on time and prepared
• Following lawful instructions on set
• Treating cast, crew, and staff respectfully

5.2 Once confirmed for a booking, you must remain available for the full working period, as production schedules may change.

5.3 Failure to meet professional standards — including no-shows, late cancellations, or inappropriate conduct — may result in removal from the booking and/or suspension or removal from the database.

6. Pay, Rates & Employment Status

6.1 Rates of pay, role details, and working conditions will be clearly communicated before confirmation of any booking.

6.2 By accepting a booking, you agree to the stated terms and conditions for that engagement.

6.3 Where Celtic Casting processes payroll, payment will be made in accordance with Irish employment, tax, and payroll legislation.

6.4 Only statutory deductions required by law will be applied, including PAYE, USC, PRSI, and pension contributions where applicable.

7. Conclusion of Engagements

Each engagement facilitated by Celtic Casting is for a specific role and period only.

Each engagement automatically concludes on completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise stated in writing.

No ongoing or continuous employment relationship is created by completion of an engagement, and future work is offered on a case-by-case basis only.

8. Payment Processing

8.1 Celtic Casting is authorised to collect payments from Hirers and process payroll to Artists.

8.2 Payment timelines depend on when funds are received from Hirers. Typical processing times range from 4 to 12 weeks from the date worked.

8.3 Payments are issued via electronic bank transfer. You are responsible for ensuring your bank details are accurate and up to date.

8.4 A remittance statement detailing gross pay and statutory deductions will be made available via your member portal.

9. Health, Safety & Set Conditions

9.1 Health and safety on set is the responsibility of the Hirer and production team.

9.2 Celtic Casting does not control on-set working conditions and cannot accept liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred while travelling to or from a booking, while engaged on a production, or as a result of third-party actions or omissions.

9.3 Artists must comply with all on-set safety procedures and report concerns promptly.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

10.1 Celtic Casting processes personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.

10.2 Personal data is used solely for casting, booking, payroll, legal compliance, and related communications.

11. Minors

11.1 Artists under 18 must have a signed Parental or Guardian Consent Form on file.

11.2 The parent or legal guardian authorises Celtic Casting to facilitate bookings, liaise with Hirers and licensed chaperones, and sign production documentation where required.

11.3 All applicable child employment, licensing, education, and welfare regulations must be complied with at all times.

12. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

12.1 Celtic Casting provides services on an as-available basis and makes no guarantee of work, income, or continuity of engagements.

12.2 Celtic Casting is not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses arising from production changes, technical failures, or events outside its reasonable control.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion is not permitted by law.

13. Amendments

13.1 Celtic Casting may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be published on our website.

13.2 Continued use of our services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all registered artists of CelticCasting.ie.
