No. Acting experience is not required. We represent people of all ages, backgrounds, looks and body types. Many roles require no prior experience at all. If you do have acting experience or special skills, you can include this in your profile, but beginners are very welcome.
Is there a cost to join Celtic Casting?
There is no upfront cost to join.
For adults, an annual membership fee is deducted only from your first paid booking.
There is no fee for minors.
What type of work does Celtic Casting offer?
We cast supporting artists and walk-on roles for film, television, streaming and commercial productions filming throughout Ireland. This includes background roles and featured background positions on productions of all sizes.
Do I need professional photos to register with Celtic Casting?
No. Your photos do not need to be professionally taken. Clear, recent photos taken on a phone are perfectly acceptable. Please avoid filters, black-and-white images, sunglasses, hats, or heavy editing. A head-and-shoulders photo and a full-length photo against a plain background are required.
Is there a fee to join Celtic Casting?
